"Soul of Banarasi Handloom"

At Naaritva, we celebrate the timeless grace of womanhood through the richness of Banarasi weaves—preserving heritage, empowering artisans, and reimagining tradition for the modern woman.

About-Naaritva

Naaritva Banaras is a quiet continuation of a legacy that began over four decades ago in the bylanes of Banaras—where silk, tradition, and craftsmanship are not just a trade, but a way of life.

Rooted in the foundation of Vastra Villa India Private Limited, the journey traces back to the family’s original ventures—NK Silk Sarees and Sneha Silk Sarees, names long associated with authenticity and trust in Banarasi weaves.

Carrying this legacy forward, Naaritva Banaras is envisioned by a new generation—a brother-sister duo, Amisha Jain and Rishi Jain. Having grown up amidst looms and artisans, they chose not just to inherit the family business, but to reimagine it with a refined, contemporary perspective.

At its heart, Naaritva is a celebration of womanhood—her grace, strength, and quiet elegance. Each saree is more than attire; it is a story woven in silk.

By working closely with artisans and bringing processes in-house, the brand preserves the purity, precision, and soul of authentic Banarasi craftsmanship. Every piece reflects the essence of Banaras—the intricacy, patience, and poetry of handwoven textiles.

There is a quiet luxury in every drape—a sense of belonging and a whisper of heritage that feels both personal and enduring.

At Naaritva, we believe true beauty is never manufactured—it is nurtured. And in that belief lives the essence of purity, legacy, and the dreamers who continue to keep Banaras alive, one weave at a time.

Behind the Name

The name Naaritva draws inspiration from the words “Naar” (woman) and “Aartiva/Artiva”—symbolising artistry, grace, and soulful expression.

It represents the strength, elegance, and timeless beauty of Indian women, who carry tradition and modernity with effortless poise. It reflects the rich craft heritage of Banaras, where every weave holds centuries of devotion, skill, and cultural legacy. And it embodies the artistic spirit woven into every piece—where each saree becomes a canvas of craftsmanship, creativity, and emotion.

Naaritva is more than a name—it is an ode to women who honour their roots, embrace their individuality, and wear heritage like art.

Every creation reflects this philosophy: celebrating womanhood, preserving Banarasi tradition, and elevating handloom artistry for the modern, global woman.
